The Summer I Became an Author didn't start as a publishing program. It started as a room full of kids with stories stuck inside them and no idea how to get them out. Through storytelling workshops designed to bring clarity to their thoughts and confidence to their words, something unexpected happened — the kids didn't just want to tell their stories. They wanted to publish them. And just like that, a program took on a story of its own.

How it Works

  • For Young Authors

    • Send an email with your child's first name to receive more information. Subject: SUMMER WAITLIST
    • Selected authors participate in a 5-day creative writing and business workshop.
    • Their story will be published.
